Parents, I am getting to know your children and I feel fortunate to have this class. They are great kids, all with special qualities. I look forward to a super school year with them. On Tuesday, September 6, I sent home a letter explaining fourth grade homework expectations along with the first homework packet. Hopefully you saw this letter and packet last week and completed the front page as your child completed their weekly homework. A new packet will go home at the beginning of each school week. The packets are due on Friday. If a child forgets, they may bring their homework on Monday for full credit however, late homework does not earn our weekly reward. If you did not see the packet, please ask your child for it, if you need to contact me for an additional copy, please send me an email. This next week, the students will have a math test on place value, rounding, adding and subtracting with regrouping. Each Friday there will be a spelling and vocabulary test on the words that have been studied that week. Please visit the volunteer page on this site if you would like to help make this school year even better for our class. My appreciation to parents who have sent in supplies for our class and to parents who helped with our first field trip last week. Sincerely, Mrs. Janes Comments are closed.
